Man with dead weasel accused of assault

HOQUIAM, Wash. (AP) — Police say a man was carrying a dead weasel when he burst into an apartment and assaulted a man in Washington state.

The attacker was apparently looking for his girlfriend and had gone to her former boyfriend’s apartment Monday where the victim was a guest.The victim asked, “Why are you carrying a weasel?” Police said the attacker answered, “It’s not a weasel, it’s a marten,” then punched him in the nose and fled.

KXRO reports he left the carcass behind.

Police later found the 33-year-old Hoquiam man arguing with his girlfriend at another location and arrested him after a fight.

He said he had found the marten dead near Hoquiam, but police don’t know why he carried it with him.

A marten is a member of the weasel family.

[What do you think about people] who are required to purchase health care, like small gym owners like Giovanni and Brock, that only have a couple trainers in their gym and now they have to make sure they’re covered. It’s going to be very costly. How do you feel about that?

Well, uhhm umm, well you mean in terms for the poor people? Or..

Oh well they have to now cover their employees. They have a small little gym with only a couple people, employees, and now they have to purchase health insurance. That’s going to be tough. Their wages are very good, only a couple trainers coming in every month to come in and challenge the gym leader.

Yeah, I feel like they have to, they have to have like, uh, a lot of trainees, uh, a lot of employees.

I don’t like people who ask for follows or reblogs. Sometimes I’m tempted to unfollow or not blog something just on that basis. I like things clean, quiet, calm, and pure. Attention hording seems cheap to me.
